Cambodia, India to Foster Military Collaboration

Cambodia and India are committed to further promoting military cooperation in language proficiency, counter-terrorism, and parachute jumping.

The commitment was made in a meeting between H.E. Gen. Vong Pisen, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF), and Mr. Colonel Dheeraj Kotwal, the Indian defence attaché to Cambodia in Phnom Penh, at the RCAF’s headquarters on Mar. 27.

H.E. Gen. Vong Pisen thanked the Indian government for its support in fostering military cooperation with Cambodia in the mentioned areas.

The Commander-in-Chief also asked the Indian side to continue training RCAF’s human resources and exchange visits at all levels.

Mr. Colonel Dheeraj Kotwal responded that India is ready to provide various training courses for the RCAF and requested the cooperation of the Commander-in-Chief to examine the possibility of sending trainees to these courses.
