CDC, FASMEC Discuss Promotion of Private Sector’s Contribution in Cambodia

The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) and Federation of Association for Small and Medium Enterprises of Cambodia (FASMEC) have discussed ways to promote the participation of private sector, particularly SMEs, for Cambodia’s socio-economic development.

The discussion was held between H.E. SUN Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice President of the CDC, and Oknha TE Taing Por, President of the Board of Directors of FASMEC, at the CDC Headquarters in Phnom Penh on June 3.

On the occasion, H.E. SUN Chanthol informed his guests about the CDC’s key role to attract and facilitate investors whose goals had set Cambodia as their business and investment target destination.

For his part, Oknha TE Taing Por requested the CDC vice president to study the possibility of establishing any forms of bilateral collaboration between the CDC and the FASMEC to boost connectivity and provide more opportunities and attention for local Cambodian investors, basically potential SMEs.
