Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received at the Peace Palace here this morning visiting H.E. Kim Han-gil, Chairman of the Presidential Committee of National Cohesion of the Republic of Korea.
In the meeting, H.E. Kim Han-Gil lauded the rapid development in all areas of Cambodia and expressed his optimism that under the wise leadership of Samdech Thipadei, Cambodia will see further development.
H.E. Kim Han-Gil spoke highly of the good relations between the two countries and praised the contribution of Cambodian migrant workers in Korea in boosting the economic growth. He affirmed that the Korean government considers foreign workers, including Cambodian workers, are important partners in promoting the Korean economic growth.
For his part, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet expressed his satisfaction with the progress in the relationship between the two countries, which was elevated to a “strategic partnership” in May 2024. He thanked the Korean government and people for their continued support for the development of Cambodia through infrastructure construction, and investment in real estate, banking, agriculture, manufacturing and industry.
The Cambodian Premier also highly appreciated the Korean government for providing support for Cambodian migrant workers in Korea.
At the same time, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet encouraged H.E. Kim Han-Gil to continue good and active cooperation with Cambodian ministries and institutions to attain achievements for the benefit of both countries.
