Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has sent a message to H.E. Donald J. Trump, congratulating him on his re-election as the 47th President of the United States of America.
“Your re-election to this pre-eminent position stands as a testament to the trust and confidence that the American people have placed in your leadership, vision, and extensive experience in both the private and public sectors. I am highly confident that your presidential leadership will not only guide the United States towards a more prosperous future but also further contribute to global peace, stability and prosperity,” read the message dated Nov. 6.
“As we will celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Cambodia-U.S. diplomatic relations in July 2025, I firmly believe that through our joint efforts and mutual understanding and respect, our bilateral ties and cooperation will certainly be further strengthened and expanded,” he added.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen also reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with H.E. Donald J. Trump, his administration, and the U.S. Congress, particularly the Senate, to further enhance the two nations’ long-standing relations and cooperation, both bilaterally and multilaterally, for the mutual benefits of the two countries and peoples.
