Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Wang Wenbin has showed interest in and helped promote the fun, vibrant, beautiful, and safe Walk Street in Phnom Penh to Chinese citizens.
On May 24, H.E. Ambassador and H.E. Huot Hak, Cambodian Minister of Tourism, attended a public Cambodia-China cultural performance held on the occasion of the official opening ceremony of the “Cambodia-China Tourism Year 2025” at the Walk Street along the riverside near Chaktomuk River, Phnom Penh.
On the occasion, they also took the time to engage in friendly conversations and take commemorative photos with local vendors, Cambodian citizens, and international tourists of various nationalities who were enjoying their leisure time at the Walk Street — a lively, multicultural space with a fresh atmosphere under the cool and clean breeze of the Chaktomuk River.
“The joyful, friendly environment reflected the deep and unbreakable friendship between Cambodia and China,” underlined the Ministry of Tourism in a news release yesterday.
