The Ministry of Tourism will organise the “Cambodia Muslim Friendly Tourism Forum and Fair 2025” from Oct. 9 to 11 at Al-Serkal Mosque (Boeung Kak Mosque) in Phnom Penh under the theme “Assalamu Alaikum Cambodia: A Safe, Warm and Friendly Destination.”
The forthcoming event is aimed (1) to welcome visitors to the Kingdom of Cambodia, a safe, warm and friendly destination for tourists of all nationalities and from all directions; (2) to showcases the richness of Cambodia’s tourism potential that align with the Muslim tourism market and Cambodia Muslim-Friendly Standards; and (3) to enhance preparedness in welcoming Muslim tourists in accordance with national and international Muslim market trends and needs, in an inclusive and innovative manner, according to an announcement of the Ministry of Tourism released this morning.
The forum will feature tourism experts, including government officials, Muslim community leaders, business professionals, and private sector representatives, who will discuss and share new ideas, exchange experiences, and provide additional inputs to the development of the tourism sector in a sustainable, resilient and comprehensive manner.
The Ministry of Tourism will also set up a Muslim tourism exhibition booth showcasing tourism services and products at the location specified above.
