Thai Forces’ Fighter Jets Keep Violating Cambodia’s Airspace

The Ministry of National Defence has confirmed that Thai F-16 fighter jets repeatedly violated Cambodia’s airspace today.

According to a press release, at 9:45 a.m., Thai F-16s flew over O’Beichoan commune and Poipet city, Banteay Meanchey province. Five minutes later, additional fighter jets flew twice over the Stung Bot roundabout in Poipet.

At the same time, at 9:50 a.m., Thai F-16s dropped two bombs on Slor Kram village in Slor Kram commune, Svay Chek district, Banteay Meanchey province.

The ministry stressed that this is not the first instance of Thai fighter jets violating and bombing Cambodian territory since the Thai military renewed its aggressive operations against Cambodia’s territorial integrity on Dec. 7, 2025.

These actions constitute a grave breach of the Ceasefire Agreement and the Joint Declaration signed by the Prime Ministers of both countries on Oct. 26, 2025, under the witness of U.S. President Donald J. Trump and Malaysian Prime Minister H.E. Anwar Ibrahim, in his capacity as ASEAN Chair.
