Cambodian PM Travels to France for One Health Summit and Working Visit


A high-level Cambodian delegation, led by Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, is heading for France to attend the One Health Summit and pay a working visit in Lyon and Paris, from April 6 to 9, at the invitation of French President H.E. Emmanuel MACRON.

The delegation was seen off at the Techo International Airport this morning by deputy prime ministers, ministers and many other high-ranking government officials.

According to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the One Health Summit, marking the 9th edition of the One Planet Summit, is a flagship event under France’s presidency of the G7 in 2026. It serves as a high-level platform bringing together Heads of State and Government, representatives of international organisations, civil society, scientists, and multilateral development banks to deliberate on the interconnected challenges of human health, animal health, and ecosystems.

Samdech Thipadei and Lok Chumteav Dr. PICH Chanmony Hun Manet are accompanied by H.E. PRAK Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, along with other Deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers, and senior officials of the Royal Government of Cambodia.

During his stay in France, Samdech Thipadei the Prime Minister is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with French dignitaries and leaders of other countries to exchange views on further strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across a wide range of sectors.
