President Xi Jingping said that the visit of Samdech Techo Hun Sen to China is now worth the most for the two countries’ relations. The President also highlighted the 60 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries. His Excellency continued that His Majesty the King of Cambodia and His Majesty the King of Cambodia had been invited to participate in the traditional program in China. He further stated that a one-way belt initiative and continue to strengthen and expand cooperation with countries within the framework of one belt, in which both sides will continue to pay close attention to expanding cooperation At the regional and international levels.
He added that although international relations are changing now, relations between China and Cambodia have really benefited from each other. Through this, China will continue to enhance cooperation with Cambodia, especially the contribution to Cambodia’s more robust development. The President stressed that Cambodia will be more successful in the next 60 years. As a good neighbor, China supports the Samdech Techo and the Cambodian People’s Party, which won the landslide victory in the general election in July 2018.
