H.E Ith Samheng, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training, received yesterday H.E HORINOUCHI HIDEHISA, Ambassador of Japan, who come to inform new system of Japan of recruiting Cambodian workers to work in Japan as full-fledged workers .
The Japanese side welcomes H.E Ith Samheng to go to Japan in the third week of March to sign the agreement on this new system.
The new system has been implemented since April 2019. The Japanese side hopes to provide additional jobs for Cambodian workers.
We currently have 9,100 workers in Japan, with an average salary of $ 1,500 per month.
H.E Ith Samheng appreciates the new system as a new step to strengthen the cooperation between the both countries Cambodia and Japan.
