Samdech Hun Sen Holds a Get-together with Almost 14,000 Workers in Koh Kong Province


Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen this morning visited some 13,866 workers and employees from seven factories and enterprises in Koh Kong coastal province.

The get-together was held in Koh Kong Special Economic Zone located in Neang Kok village, Pakkhlong commune, Mondul Seima district.

According to Minister of Labour and Vocational Training H.E. Ith Samheng, those seven factories and enterprises – six in Mondul Seima district and one in Sre Ambil district – have been invested by investors from Japan, the Netherlands, South Korea and Thailand.

Currently, there are 76 factories and enterprises in Koh Kong province, employing 12,803 workers and employees with a total annual wage of US$43 million, pointed out H.E. Minister.

Since Aug. 20, 2017, Samdech Techo Hun Sen has paid 65 visits to nearly 930,000 workers and employees across the country.
