Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has announced to file a lawsuit against those who had insulted him on social media, mainly Facebook.
“I’m asking my lawyers to check the legal aspect to sue those who insulted me on Facebook. […] If I win this lawsuit, I’ll demand US$2 million as compensation,” said Samdech Techo Hun Sen at a get-together with nearly 14,000 workers and employees from seven factories and enterprises in Koh Kong province this morning.
If they don’t have money, their properties can be sold to pay the compensation as some of them have properties in the country, he added.
This amount of compensation will be used to support orphanages in the country, he underlined.
According to the Premier, his lawyers have been collecting the evidence, and there are now around 32 cases.
