ក្រសួងធម្មការ និងសាសនា សូមប្រកាសថ្កោលទោសយ៉ាងដាច់អហង្ការចំពោះទង្វើដ៏សាហាវយង់ឃ្នងរបស់កងទ័ព ដែលវាយកម្ទេចរូបសំណាកទេវរូបវិស្ណុ ឋិតក្នុងតំបន់អានសេះ ខេត្តព្រះវិហារ នៃដែនអធិបតេយ្យភាពនៃព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា។
សកម្មភាពនេះ ធ្វើឱ្យប៉ះពាល់យ៉ាងខ្លាំងដល់អារម្មណ៍របស់អ្នកគោរពសាសនា នៅជុំវិញពិភពលោក ព្រោះរូបសំណាកនេះត្រូវ បានគេគោរពបូជាយ៉ាងខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់ ដោយប្រជាជនទូទៅ ហើយក៏ជាផ្នែកមួយនៃបេតិកភណ្ឌ អារ្យធម៌រួមគ្នារបស់មនុស្សជាតិ ហើយសូមស្នើដល់សាសនិកទូទាំងពិភពលោក និងសហគមន៍អន្តរជាតិថ្កោលទោសសកម្មភាពទមិឡឥតសាសនារបស់ កងទ័ពឈ្លានពានថៃ។
ជាងនេះទៅទៀត កងទ័ពថៃបានបន្តធ្វើសកម្មភាពឈ្លានពានលើដែនអធិបតេយ្យភាពកម្ពុជា ដោយប្រើប្រាស់អាវុធ ធុនតូច ធុនធំ យន្តហោះគ្មានមនុស្សបើក យន្តហោះទម្លាក់គ្រាប់បែក ផ្សែងពុល គ្រាប់បែកចង្កោម និងនាវាចម្បាំង បាញ់ប្រហារ និងទម្លាក់គ្រាប់យ៉ាងកំរោល មិនរើសគោលដៅ សាហាវព្រៃផ្សៃបំផុត បានធ្វើឱ្យប្រជាជនស៊ីវិលស្លូតត្រង់កម្ពុជាមួយចំនួន ស្លាប់និងរងរបួស ផ្ទះសម្បែង សាលារៀន មន្ទីរពេទ្យ វត្តអារាម ផ្លូវថ្នល់ ស្ពាន ប្រាសាទបុរាណ រូបសំណាកគោរពសក្ការបូជា ត្រូវបានបំផ្លិចបំផ្លាញ។ លើសពីនេះ សិស្សសាលា ក្មេងចាស់ ប្រុស ស្រី ត្រូវបង្ខំចិត្តភៀសខ្លួនរកទីកន្លែងសុវត្ថិភាពភ្លាមៗ ដោយមិនបានត្រៀមលក្ខណៈជាមុន។

(Phnom Penh): The Ministry of Cult and Religion expressed its strong condemnation of the brutal act of the Thai military in destroying a statue of Preah Vishnu in the An Ses area of Preah Vihear province in the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
This action deeply hurts the feelings of religious believers around the world because the public highly reveres this statue, and it is also part of the common cultural heritage of humanity. The ministry asked all believers around the world and the international community to condemn the irreligious actions of the Thai military.
Furthermore, the Thai military continued to attack Cambodian territory, using small arms, heavy weapons, drones, fighter jets, toxic gas, cluster munitions, and naval warships. They shot and shelled indiscriminately with extreme brutality, causing the deaths and injuries of innocent Cambodian civilians. Homes, schools, hospitals, monasteries, roads, bridges, ancient temples, and religious statues were destroyed. Additionally, schoolchildren, the elderly, men, and women were forced to flee to safety displacement sites without prior preparation.
The Ministry of Cult and Religion called on the Thai side to immediately cease all hostilities and the destruction of all statues of human worship, and to return to respecting the ceasefire agreement, the Joint Statement on the Kuala Lumpur Peace Agreement, and all obligations under international law in a strict, honest, and genuine manner, and to adhere to the peaceful resolution of disputes in accordance with international law as well as existing treaties, conventions, and agreements, and to oppose the use of armed force, with a view to finding a fair, just, and lasting solution.
