Cambodia Reports 35 New Cases of COVID19; 32 Recovered


Cambodia reported 35 new cases of COVID19, while 32 patients recovered on Tuesday, according to the Ministry of Health’s press release dated 23 March 2021 (updated as of 10:00 a.m).

The newly infected patients are a 34-year-old and a 27-year-old Indonesian men returning from Indonesia through Singapore’s flight to Cambodia on 21 March 2021.

The other 33 are patients involved in February 20 community event. They are Cambodian, Chinese and Vietnamese nationals from Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, Kandal and Phnom Penh aged between 13 and 47 years old.

To date, Cambodia has confirmed 1788 cases of COVID19 with 999 recoveries and four deaths.
