Don’t Take CPP as Attack Target, Says Samdech Techo Hun Sen

Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen as the President of the ruling Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) has sent a strong message to some senior opposition politicians, particularly Candlelight Party (CP)’s supreme adviser Kong Korm.

At the groundbreaking for the reconstruction and upgrading of National Road No. 7 in Kampong Cham province this morning, Samdech Techo Hun Sen asked all politicians to conduct politics with dignity and not to attack other parties, especially not to use CPP as a target for attack.

“If you (opposition politicians) continue to attack CPP, we will take legal action,” Samdech Techo Hun Sen warned. “Please promote your own political agenda, don’t take CPP as your attack target […] If not, there would be two responses – legal action and demonstration.”

All CPP’s lawyers at all levels have to take legal actions at any places, the Premier continued, stressing that CPP will not tolerate anyone who accuses the party of stealing the votes.
