Three Malaysian-based companies—Bin Zayed International (M) Berhad, Aurelius Healthcare, and MMAG Holdings Berhad—have expressed interest in exploring investment opportunities and expanding their operations in Cambodia, particularly in the healthcare, digital, and logistics sectors.
Executives of the three firms paid separate courtesy calls on Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on the evening of May 27. They briefed the Premier on their respective business activities and highlighted their interest in Cambodia’s favourable investment climate.
The executives included Mr. Dato’ Sri Dr. Shamir Kumar Nandy, Managing Director of Bin Zayed International (M) Berhad; Mr. Dato’ Amir Firdaus Abdullah, Chairman and Group Managing Director of Aurelius Healthcare; and Mr. Datuk Hanifah Noordin, Executive Chairman and CEO of both MMAG Holdings Berhad and NexG Berhad.
For his part, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet welcomed their investment interest and introduced the Royal Government’s policies and incentives designed to support investors. He emphasised Cambodia’s flexible, concrete, and realistic investment law, which help foster a favourable business environment.
The Prime Minister also outlined promising sectors for investment and encouraged the companies to engage with relevant ministries and institutions for further collaboration and to explore specific investment opportunities in Cambodia.
Bin Zayed International (M) Berhad is a key member of the Bin Zayed International Group, founded in 1988 by His Highness Sheikh Khaled Zayed Saquer Alnahyan. In 2025, the company expanded into Cambodia by establishing a subsidiary, Provident Capital Co., Ltd., which was officially registered with the Ministry of Commerce on Mar. 28, 2025, to operate in the financial sector.
Aurelius Healthcare, founded in 2019, aims to build a distinctive healthcare model centered on mid-level private care, providing equitable services to both patients and healthcare professionals. The group currently partners with three hospitals in Malaysia and six across Indochina, including two in Cambodia: Orienda International Hospital and Orchid Koh Pich Hospital, with a combined total of 170 beds.
MMAG Holdings Berhad, established in 2003, is a Malaysian logistics and technology firm offering comprehensive services including warehousing, e-commerce solutions, inventory management, packaging and sorting, and last-mile delivery.
