H.E. Dr. Phoeurng Sackona, Cambodia’s Minister of Culture and Fine Arts and Head of the Royal Government Delegation, held a bilateral meeting with Assistant Director-General for Culture of UNESCO Mr. Ernesto Ottone Ramírez on Tuesday at the organisation’s headquarters in Paris.
The meeting, which also included Mr. Lazare Eloundou Assomo, Director of the World Heritage Centre, focused on key collaborative efforts concerning the conservation and development of Cambodia’s UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Discussions covered ongoing projects and other critical matters related to Cambodia’s heritage sector.
H.E. Dr. Phoeurng Sackona is currently in Paris leading the Cambodian delegation participating in the 47th Session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee.
