On Thursday Morning 29 November 2018, Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdei Say Chhum, President of the Seante, presided over the second session of senate with the presence of 57 members with below agenda :
- Review and comment on the extradition treaty between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Russian Federation.
- Review and comment on the draft law of financial management for 2019
- Review and comment on the draft law of General state budget payments for
2017. - Review and comment on the Draft Law on Adoption :
-Agreement between the Royal Government of Cambodia and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on the avoidance of overlapping tax and the prevention of tax breaks related to income tax.
-Agreement between the Royal Government of Cambodia and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia on the avoidance of overlapping tax and the prevention of tax breaks related to income tax.
The Representative of Government who come to clarify the draft law of the first Agenda, led by H.E Dr. Bin Chhin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister in Charge of the Office of the Council of Ministers, accompanied by H.E Kert Rith, Acting Minister of Justice and seven senior officials.
The Representative of Government who come to clarify the draft law of the second, third,fourth Agendas, led by H.E Dr. Aun Ponmonirath, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance, accompanied by 47 members.
After listening to His Excellency the Chairman of the Commission, which is the competent to report to and after listening to the opinions of the members of the Senate and the explanations of the Royal Government Representative, the Senate adopted the approval of the entire contents of the Draft All four are considered as urgent 57 votes of membership The Senate as a whole.
