PM Thanks Compatriots for Gathering to Eat Num Banchok


Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has expressed his gratitude to all his compatriots for having gathered across the country to eat Num Banchok, which reflects strong national unity.

“Please enjoy eating Num Banchok. Thank you all for organising Num Banchok-eating event without discrimination despite your religious belief or political tendency,” said the Cambodian Premier in a Facebook post this morning.

Today’s Num Banchok-eating event reflects strong friendship, solidarity, love and national unity, underlined Samdech Techo Hun Sen, wishing all his compatriots success and good luck.

Speaking at a recent graduation ceremony, Samdech Techo Prime Minister made an appeal to his compatriots to eat together Num Banchok, stressing that this dish is a national identity and does not belong to any political party.

Num Banchok is a well-known dish in Cambodia. This rice noodle is often served for breakfast. It is eaten with different soups made from fish or chicken or pork or beef with a mix of vegetable.
