Cambodia Seeks China’s Assistance for Human Resource Training


Cambodia has proposed to China to help training Cambodian human resources in the fields of research, science and technology.

Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen made the request while receiving here this morning a courtesy call from visiting H.E. Wan Gang, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), according to H.E. Eang Sophalleth, Assistant to the Cambodian Premier.

Human resources are needed in the science and technological cooperation and development promotion in this digital era, he explained.

H.E. Wan Gang told Samdech Techo Prime Minister of his first ever visit in Cambodia, saying that the purpose is to strengthen the cooperation between both countries, particularly in the areas of science and technology.

The CPPCC vice chairman thus sought Samdech Techo Hun Sen’s recommendation to this cooperation.

In reply, the Cambodian Prime Minister encouraged H.E. Wan Gang to cooperate with the Royal Academy of Cambodia, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, and the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training.
