Cambodia and Monaco Establish Diplomatic Ties


The Governments of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Principality of Monaco have officially established diplomatic relations between the two countries with the signing of a Joint Communiqué.

H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya, Cambodian Ambassador in France and his Monaco counterpart, H.E. Christophe Steiner, represented their respective governments to sign the document in Paris, France last week.

According to the Joint Communiqué, the establishment of diplomatic ties between Cambodia and Monaco aims to promote mutual understanding and strengthen the relations of friendship and cooperation between their peoples.

The two sides agreed that their diplomatic relations will be based on the provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of April 18, 1968, underlined the Joint Communiqué.
