ថ្ងៃទី១០ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ២០១៨ ឯកឧត្តម ស៊ុន ចាន់ថុល ទេសរដ្ឋមន្ត្រី រដ្ឋមន្ត្រីក្រសួងសាធារណការ និងដឹកជញ្ជូន បានដឹកនាំគណៈប្រតិភូ អញ្ជើញចុះត្រួតពិនិត្យការដ្ឋានសាងសង់ចំណតកំពង់ផែដឹកជញ្ជូនអ្នកដំណើរតាមផ្លូវទឹក ឋិតនៅត្រង់ចំណុចទីលានប្រជាធិបតេយ្យថ្មី តាមបណ្តោយផ្លូវជាតិ០៥។
នាឱកាសនោះ ឯកឧត្តមទេសរដ្ឋមន្ត្រី បានគូសបញ្ជាក់ថា៖ រាជរដ្ឋា ភិបាលកម្ពុជាក្រោមការដឹកនាំដ៏ឈ្លាសវៃរបស់សម្តេចអគ្គមហាសេនាបតីតេជោ ហ៊ុន សែន នាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រី គ្រោងដាក់ឱ្យដំណើរការការដឹកអ្នកដំណើរទៅមក ព្រែកព្នៅ ភ្នំពេញ តាខ្មៅ នៅថ្ងៃទី៦ ខែមេសា ខាងមុខនេះ ដែលជាប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្រលើកដំបូង របស់កម្ពុជាដើម្បីចូលរួមចំណែក កាត់បន្ថយការកកស្ទះចរាចរណ៍ តាមផ្លូវគោក និងបង្កើនសុវត្ថិភាពចរាចរណ៍ដល់អ្នកធ្វើដំណើរ ចូល-ចេញ និងឆ្លងកាត់រាជធានីភ្នំពេញជារៀងរាល់ថ្ងៃ។
ការដាក់ដំណើរការ លើកដំបូង នៅថ្ងៃទី០៦ ខែមេសា ឆ្នាំ២០១៨ ខាងមុខនេះ នឹងមានទូកដឹកអ្នកដំណើរ ចំនួន ០៣គ្រឿង ០២គ្រឿង ជាទូករបស់ក្រុមហ៊ុន Royal Express Boat អាចផ្ទុកមនុស្ស ៦០នាក់ ០៣គ្រឿងទៀត ជាទូករបស់កំពង់ផែស្វយ័តភ្នំពេញ ដែលកំពុងសាងសង់ អាចផ្ទុកបាន ៥៤នាក់ បំពាក់ដោយម៉ាស៊ីនត្រជាក់ និងពោងសុវត្ថិភាព។
ក្រោយការដាក់ដំណើរការ ទូករបស់កំពង់ផែស្វយ័តភ្នំពេញនឹងមកដល់ បន្ថែមមួយគ្រឿងផ្សេងទៀត។
ជាមួយទូក ០៣គ្រឿងជាជំហ៊ានដំបូងនេះ នឹងធ្វើចរាចរណ៍ផ្តល់សេវា ចេញដំណើរពីព្រែកព្នៅទៅក្រុងតាខ្មៅ ចម្ងាយសរុបប្រមាណ២៥គីឡូ ម៉ែត្រ ចំណាយពេលវេលា ជាមធ្យម៣៤នាទី មានចំណតផែចំនួន ០៥ រួមមាន៖ ចំណតផែព្រែកព្នៅ ទីលានប្រជាធិបតេយ្យថ្មី ផ្សាររាត្រី កោះពេជ្រ និងក្រុងតាខ្មៅ។
ឯកឧត្តមទេសរដ្ឋមន្ត្រី សង្ឃឹមយ៉ាងមុតមាំថា ការដឹកជញ្ជូនអ្នកដំណើរតាមផ្លូវទឹកនេះ នឹងបានចូលរួមចំណែកយ៉ាងសំខាន់ ក្នុងដំណោះស្រាយការកកស្ទះ និងគ្រោះថ្នាក់ចរាចរណ៍ ព្រមទាំងធ្វើអោយចំណេញពេលវេលា និងចូលរួមកាត់បន្ថយការភាពក្រីក្រជូនប្រជាពលរដ្ឋផងដែរ៕
Plan to operate waterway Preak Phnov Phnom Penh, Takhmao on April 6, using three passenger boats with five port terminals

On March 10, 2018, His Excellency Sun Chanthol, Senior Minister and Minister of Public Works and Transport, led a delegation to inspect the construction of the terminals of the port at the new Freedom Park along National Road 05.
During that occasion, HE Sun informed that the Royal Government of Cambodia, the wise leadership of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister plans to launch the process of transporting passenger to Preak Phnov, Phnom Penh, Takhmao on April 6, which is Cambodia’s first landmark to reduce traffic congestion and improving safety for passengers entering and exiting Phnom Penh every day.
The first launch on April 6, 2018, will include three 03-boat passenger boats, Royal Express Boat’s can accommodate 60 people and other 3 boats which are the boats of Phnom Penh Autonomous Port, which can accommodate 54 people with air conditioning and airbags.
After the operation, the Boat of Phnom Penh Autonomous Port will be added to another.
With the first three boats will provide services from Preak Pnov to Takhmao, totaling about 25 km, spending an average of 34 minutes with 05 terminals, including: Prek pnov Port, New Democracy Park, Night market,Koh Pich and Takhmao city.
The Senior Minister strongly hoped that the inland waterway transport would contribute significantly to the congestion and acceleration of road accidents and save time and reduce poverty to the people.
