In the Morning of 19 October 2018, at Brussels, Belgium, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia attended the opening ceremony of ASEM12 , Discussions focused on Europe and Asia: Global Partners for Global Challenges under the theme of The Need for European and Asian Fishing Nations to Priorities Transparency.
The ceremony was attended by many Head of State/Head of Government of Asia and Europe countries to exchange the concepts and ideas over the planned agenda.
The ASEM is the most important framework to formulate a joint response to emerging security challenges, including non-proliferation, terrorism, cyber security, cyber-attacks and irregular migration in the region and the world . The Summit will convene two plenary plenums covering economic and financial issues, as well as global challenges and exit patterns to discuss regional and international issues that should be allowed. Directly exchanged views in a restricted and informal context. As usual, four major events were held before the Asia-Europe Meeting to boost dialogue involving (1) business to business, (2) people and people, (3) The parliamentarians and (4) young people, and the outcome of these events will be included in the leadership’s discussion.
