នាថ្ងៃទី១៤ ខែវិច្ឆិកា ឆ្នាំ២០១៩ ក្នុងកំឡុងពេលនៃកិច្ចប្រជុំរដ្ឋមន្រ្តីដឹកជញ្ជូនអាស៊ានលើកទី២៥ ឯកឧត្តម ស៊ុន ចាន់ថុល ទេសរដ្ឋមន្ត្រី រដ្ឋមន្រ្តីក្រសួងសាធារណការ និងដឹកជញ្ជូន បានទទួលជួបពិភាក្សាការងារជាមួយក្រុមប្រឹក្សាធុរកិច្ចអាមេរិក-អាស៊ាន ដឹកនាំដោយលោក Michael Michalak អនុប្រធានជាន់ខ្ពស់ និងជានាយកគ្រប់គ្រងតំបន់នៃក្រុមប្រឹក្សាធុរកិច្ចអាមេរិក-អាស៊ាន នៅទីក្រុងហាណូយ ប្រទេសវៀតណាម។ គណៈប្រតិភូ រួមមានតំណាងមកពីក្រុមហ៊ុនធំៗរបស់អាមេរិក៖ 3M, Autodesk, FedEx Express និង UPS។

កិច្ចពិភាក្សាផ្តោតសំខាន់លើ៖ វិធីដែលវិស័យឯកជនរបស់សហរដ្ឋអាមេរិកអាចគាំទ្រដល់ផែនការដើម្បីពន្លឿនការអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ហេដ្ឋារចនាសម្ព័ន្ធក្នុងអាស៊ាន និងដំណោះស្រាយលើគម្លាតនៃហេដ្ឋារចនាសម្ព័ន្ធក្នុងតំបន់, ការជំរុញបរិយាកាសហិរញ្ញប្បទានហេដ្ឋារចនាសម្ព័ន្ធ តាមរយៈក្របខ័ណ្ឌច្បាប់ប្រកបដោយតម្លាភាព, ការលើកកម្ពស់តម្លៃនៃបច្ចេកវិទ្យានៅក្នុងការរៀបចំសិក្សាគំនូសប្លង់ និងសាងសង់គម្រោងហេដ្ឋារចនាសម្ព័ន្ធដឹកជញ្ជូន ការប្រែប្រួលអាកាសធាតុ និងភាពធន់នឹងគ្រោះមហន្តរាយ។

ឯកឧត្តមទេសរដ្ឋមន្រ្តីបានជម្រាបជូនក្រុមប្រឹក្សាអំពីការអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ហេដ្ឋារចនាសម្ព័ន្ធ កំណើនសេដ្ឋកិច្ចថេរ បរិយាកាសនយោបាយល្អ គោលនយោបាយគាំទ្រវិនិយោគ ទីតាំងប្រកបដោយអត្ថប្រយោជន៍និងយុទ្ធសាស្ត្រ និងកត្តាសក្តានុពលផ្សេងៗ ក្នុងការវិនិយោគនៅកម្ពុជា។

ឯកឧត្តមទេសរដ្ឋមន្រ្តីបាននគូសបញ្ជាក់អំពីកំណែទម្រង់សំខាន់ៗដែលបានបញ្ចប់ និងកំពុងអនុវត្ត នៅក្រសួងសាធារណការ និងដឹកជញ្ជូន ព្រមទាំងផែនការអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ហេដ្ឋារចនាសម្ព័ន្ធនៅកម្ពុជា។

ឯកឧត្តមទេសរដ្ឋមន្រ្តីបានអញ្ជើញគណៈប្រតិភូក្រុមប្រឹក្សាធុរកិច្ចអាមេរិក-អាស៊ាន មកធ្វើទស្សនកិច្ចនៅកម្ពុជា ដើម្បីសិក្សាស្វែងយល់ឱកាសវិនិយោគ និងធុរកិច្ច និងបានសន្យាជួយសម្របសម្រួលដល់ក្រុមហ៊ុនអាមេរិក ដែលមានបំណងចង់វិនិយោគនៅកម្ពុជា។

On 14 November 2019, on the sidelines of the 25th ASEAN Transport Ministers Meeting, H.E Mr. Sun Chanthol, Senior Minister and Minister of Public Works and Transport of Cambodia met with US-ASEAN Business Council led by Ambassador Michael Michalak, Senior Vice President & Regional Managing Director of the US-ASEAN Business Council in Hanoi, Viet Nam. The Council’s delegation includes representatives from 3M, Autodesk, FedEx Express, and UPS.

The areas of discussion emphasized on discussing how the U.S. private sector can support plans to accelerate infrastructure development in ASEAN and address regional disparities in infrastructure, promoting a favorable infrastructure financing environment through transparent regulatory frameworks, promoting the value of technology in the design and construction of transport infrastructure projects, and climate change and disaster resilience.

Senior Minister Sun informed the Council about the development of country’s infrastructure, steady economic growth, positively political atmosphere, pro-business policies, and strategically advantage location, as well as other good reasons to invest in the country.

He highlighted the key reforms which have been completed and are being implemented at the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, as well as future plan for infrastructure development in Cambodia.

Senior Minister invited the Council’s delegation to visit Cambodia to look at business and investment opportunities in the country and promised to assist and facilitate the U.S companies that wish to invest in Cambodia.
