Health Ministry: No New Infection Case, but Five Recovered Cases


Cambodia​ this morning reported zero new COVID-19 postive case, but five new recovered cases, said the Ministry of Health in a new press release.

The five new recovered patients are 2 Malaysian nationals aged 51 and 34 years old in Kampong Cham province, and 3 Cambodians in Phnom Penh capital and Battambang province.

Therefore, the number of recovered cases in Cambodia rose now to 96 or 78.69 percent of the total confirmed cases.

As of 07:00 am on April 15, 2020, Cambodia has recorded in total 122 COVID-19 confirmed cases, including 51 Cambodians, 40 French, 13 Malaysians, 5 British, 3 Chinese, 3 Vietnamese, 2 Americans, 2 Indonesians, 2 Canadians, and one Belgian.

Of the 96 recovered cases, there were one Chinese, 4 British, one Belgian, 35 French, 12 Malaysians, 2 Indonesians and 41 Cambodians.

Since the first case detected in Preah Sihanouk province in late January, the COVID-19 pandemic has now hit 13 provinces and capital of Cambodia.
